2018 sees the 75th Anniversary since the formation of our Songsters. Formed in May 1943 Morriston Songsters have taken their music and message throughout the UK and overseas.

To celebrate this milestone a 75th Anniversary Weekend will take place on Saturday 12th and Sunday 13th May.
‘In Every Corner Sing’ will take place in St. Mary’s Church, Swansea at 7.30pm on Saturday evening and will see Morriston Songsters joined by representative Salvation Army music sections from around the United Kingdom.

From England, Bristol Easton Songsters (Songster Leader Martyn Bryant), from Scotland, Clydebank Citadel Songsters (Songster Leader Daivd Currie), and from Northern Ireland, Belfast Temple Band (Bandmaster Jack Burch). Our weekend leaders will be the newly installed Territorial Commander for the United Kingdom Territory (with the Republic of Ireland) Commissioners Lyndon and Bronwyn Buckingham.

Sunday worship at Morriston Salvation Army at 10.00am and 2.00pm will be led by the Territorial Commander supported by Belfast Temple Band and Morriston Songsters.
Clydebank Citadel Songsters will lead Sunday worship at Llanelli Citadel Corps.
