Music plays an important part in Salvation Army worship services. There is plenty of singing and this can either be accompanied by piano or our brass Band. As well as taking part in our worship our band can be found out and about in the local area, presenting concerts at local churches, ministering to patients in Morriston Hospital and most known to the public at Christmas time in the local Supermarkets and streets.
We have a Singing Group for our Young People who take part in our Sunday Morning worship nearly every week. At present the group is relatively small but they certainly make a good sound and bless those who listen to them.
Our Songster Brigade (Adult Choir) also takes part in our worship. Their high standard of singing has for many years meant the name Morriston Songsters has traveled outside of the local area. A small number of our Songsters make up a vocal ensemble under the name Salvation’s Song.
