Morriston Salvation Army has a small but dedicated and enthusiastic team of people who form the Children’s Ministries Team. The team enables us to run a programme including: Junior Singing Group, Kid’s Club and not forgetting our Sunday Worship for 2-13 year olds – Primary and Kid’s Alive.
With a growing number of children our team and our congregation are encouraged to see young people grow in their knowledge about Jesus.
Our Children’s Ministry commences at about 11.30am each Sunday when they leave the main All-Age Family Worship Service for their own programme.
Primary
Sunday 11.30am
Children from the ages of 2-7 years old can attend the Primary Group with is led by Brenda Watts.
Kid’s Alive
Sunday 11.30am
Matthew Stonham looks after our Children’s Ministry and works with the rest of the team to try and keep the activities attractive, purposeful, relevant and fun for the children who attend. Kid’s Alive is for children of 7-13 years of age.
Junior Soldiers
A Junior Soldier is a young person who has made a personal decision to accept Jesus in their life. They make a promise to read their Bible and pray regularly.
Not every child in Kid’s Alive is a Junior Soldier. Becoming one is a personal choice for each person who attends. Whether they make that decision or not, all activities are open to both junior soldiers and non-junior soldiers.
Junior Singing Group
Tuesday 6.15pm
For those with a musical interest, we have a Junior Singing Group who meet weekly for rehearsals and regularly take part in the main Church services.
If you live locally and would like some more information about or to bring your children to any of our activities, please contact us as we would love to meet you. You can contact us through this website
